Greece 🇬🇷

Kotronis Schools is a Greek private educational institution based in Nafpaktos, offering a coherent and continuous educational pathway from early childhood to adolescence. The school operates as a unified learning organisation, guided by humanistic values, democratic principles and a strong European orientation. The participation of our Kindergarten in the Erasmus+ programme reflects a strategic commitment to embedding European values, inclusion, sustainability and innovation from the earliest stages of education.

At Kotronis Schools, education is unified and continuous. Fragmented learning prevents children from understanding the interconnectedness of knowledge, society and life. Each educational stage, from Kindergarten to High School, is part of a coherent developmental journey that respects emotional, cognitive and social needs while preparing students for lifelong learning and active citizenship.

Early childhood education plays a central role in this framework. In our Kindergarten, learning is experiential, play-based and inclusive. Children are encouraged to explore, collaborate, express themselves and develop confidence in a safe and supportive environment. Emphasis is placed on emotional security, creativity, communication and social interaction, fostering key European competences.

Democracy, equality and respect for diversity are core elements of our philosophy. Inclusion is embedded in daily practice, allowing children to develop empathy, cooperation and respect for difference. Sustainability and environmental awareness are cultivated through experiential activities that support responsible citizenship and align with Erasmus+ priorities.

Digital education is incorporated responsibly, using technology as a tool for creativity, communication and early digital literacy. Well-being is considered a prerequisite for learning, supported through emotional safety, balanced routines and positive social interaction.

Kotronis Schools operates as a learning organisation committed to innovation, teacher development and European cooperation. Participation in Erasmus+ enriches pedagogical practice, supports early internationalisation and strengthens our contribution to a shared European educational vision. Through shared values, collaboration and reflection, our school prepares children to participate responsibly in Europe Today.
