FORMA.Azione is a VET provider founded in 1997. In 2003, it became an Accredited Regional Training Centre, and since 2002, FORMA.Azione is ISO 9001 Certified, for designing and provision of vocational training and Adult learning services. It has developed strong relations with local and national public authorities, private companies, schools and other VET providers, Trade unions and CSOs, for designing and providing training pathways and integrated projects aimed at Human development and the educational domains.

Its mission is to:

– create concrete opportunities for the professional and social development of the target groups

– make education and training more inclusive, in particular for low skilled workers, young and elderly people, women and people on the move

– support career and individual guidance to encourage self-consciousness, Personal, Social and Learning to learn competence development and active ageing

– promote women’s access to and participation in all levels of the labour market, particularly by combating gender stereotypes

– contribute to the development of Validation of non-formal and informal learning mechanisms and Certification of competences systems.

FORMA.Azione’s specific competences are in the Training Cycle (training needs analysis, designing, provision, administration and financial reporting, evaluation and review) and public funds scouting to apply for, as lead applicant and/or partner for other entities. Its most successful areas of work are: Quality Assurance in VET and Adult Learning, Media and Information Literacy, Digitalisation, Active Citizenship, Gender Equality, Career Guidance, Creative and Culture Industries (CCIs) and Early Childhood educators and carers professional training. It works with public funding at the national and European level, namely from Ministries of Culture, Social Policies, Family, ESF, EAFRD, ERASMUS+, REC-CERV, AMIF, and Interprofessional funds for re-skilling/up-skilling. Since the COVID-19 Pandemic, it has been developing an e-learning platform, to make its courses and resources easier to access for all its learners (forma.azione.com).

Since 2016, it is a member of Euroguidance, the European Forum of VET (EfVET), and since 2011, of the Italian National Association of People Management (AIDP). In 2017, it has become the contact point in Umbria for the No Hate Speech Movement in Italy. Since 2020 it has been acknowledged with the Diversity Charter by Fondazione Sodalitas, among the other 24 EU Diversity Charters.

Staff is expert in designing, delivering and evaluating training activities to improve the competences of professionals of different educational domains, such as Early Childhood Educators, School teachers, Trainers, Adult Educators, offering training courses addressing both unemployed graduate youth in the education field and professional development activities for educational workers. It has been cooperating in different EU projects aimed at improving school teachers’ and staff’s competences and practical skills, according to digital and green transitions, societal challenges, and the expected performances by the sector stakeholders (parents, policy-makers, social partners, children, etc.).

14 people work in FORMA.Azione: 3 founding partners, nine permanent workers, two free-lancers. The staff competences are related to project coordination, tutorship, administrative aspects, project design, communication and external relations, digital and social media strategies, inclusive education, gender equality. FORMA.Azione’s human resource policy is based on trust, motivation and empowerment.

Since its beginning, more than 10500 learners have been trained towards different professional profiles and systems of competences and more than 600 teachers and trainers have provided their lessons.

Martina Morbidini
Sylvia Liuti

Expert in Gender Equality in the labour market, since 1997 she is an entrepreneur in the field of training and adult learning services and consultancy, having developed a wide competence on project management, networking and internationalisation. She is honorary member of the Gender Equality Task Force created by EfVET, EAEA, EARLALL and Vicepresident for Projects and Partnership of EfVET. She is Director of Internationalisation at FORMA.Azione and expert trainer in MIL education, Gender Equality, Communication and Public Speaking.

Adina Curta

Over 10 years of experience in EU projects design, coordination and management of activities, as well as in technical and financial reporting. In the past, she has been involved in the designing of bids for Perugia for the European Capital of Culture and European Youth Capital. She is specialised in the school and ECEC sector on: quality assurance (SEQUENCES project), digital transition (DIGITAL ECEC), gender bias (GENDERBEST), parents’ involvement to improve digital and green environment (PATHWAYS); school inclusion (KA3 ECO IN project), early school leaving (Friendly school – ESF funds in Romania), and cultural heritage for improving key competences and skills (CHERISH – E+ KA2 and impact evaluation. In the youth sector with a focus on participation (ENRYP), media and health literacy (HEALTH-LIT).

Martina Morbidini

She holds a MSc in social and cultural anthropology from VU University Amsterdam, with a strong focus on gender equality, sustainability, and social inclusion. She has conducted fieldwork research in Latin America on urban environments, environmental sustainability, and intersectional inequality, and currently manages EU-funded projects at FORMA.Azione focused on gender equality (GenderED). Experienced in designing training pathways, her work emphasizes Media and Information Literacy (MIL) education and training as tools to promote equality, inclusion, and active citizenship. Previous experience at Andrea Bocelli Foundation on development and implementation of learning pathways for the integrated use of digital tools in ECEC and primary school.
