“The odd one out” is the second of a four book series which explores the four elements: fire, earth, water and air. The books were created to conclude each week of a four week summer camp. Each book is written in English using repetition of language and introducing new vocabulary related to the themes in order to teach L2 to young learners in the most stimulating way.

The story follows the journey of “a stone” who is different from the rest and while travelling from open fields, pebble beaches to mountains and volcanos, discovers that he isn’t a stone but infact an avocado seed. The story revises already learnt vocabulary, playing with rhyming phrases to create a cute story with a happy ending.
