Every project starts with a first step. For DigitalL ECEC 2, this step took place in Serbia. 

Partners from Lithuania, Greece, Italy, and Serbia met for the first time to launch the project. Coming from different countries and backgrounds, the goal was not only to plan the work ahead, but also to build a shared understanding. 

Discussions focused on priorities, timelines, and the first steps of implementation. Roles were clarified, responsibilities were agreed, and the foundation for collaboration was set. 

Equally important was the exchange of perspectives. Each partner brought experience from their own context, helping shape a more complete view of the challenges and opportunities in early childhood education. 

The kick-off meeting marked the beginning of a shared effort. Over the next 26 months, partners will work together to develop tools and training that support early childhood education across Europe. 

With this starting point, the project moves forward with a clear direction and a shared commitment to developing meaningful and practical results.
